Path of Deep Yoga Study
You've experienced the benefits of Yoga. Now you're ready to understand the philosophy, science, and wisdom beneath the practice — at graduate level, on your own terms.
"The deeper I studied, the more I understood — not only Yoga, but myself."
Most people discover Yoga through the body. Few have the opportunity to study the rich philosophy, psychology, ethics, and science that make it a complete path of transformation.
VaYU studies Yoga as a living tradition — grounded in classical texts, validated through modern research, and applied to real life.
You won't simply learn about Yoga. You'll be invited to embody it — through reflection, self-inquiry, and integration into your daily life and work.
Earn an accredited Master's, Doctoral degree, or Advanced Certificate recognized in wellness, healthcare, and education — while working and living your life.
VaYU offers three graduate pathways for the Seeker. Each is designed for working adults through a low-residency, flexible learning model.
A focused entry into graduate-level Yoga education
Comprehensive graduate immersion in Yoga philosophy, science, and practice
Original scholarship at the frontier of Yoga, science, and human transformation
MA students can elect a 3-week supervised clinical internship in Yoga Therapy at VaYU's academic integrative medicine clinic. Develop hands-on therapeutic skills under licensed faculty supervision — a distinctive credential for wellness and healthcare professionals.
The Seeker pathway meets you wherever you are — whether you're deepening a lifelong practice or stepping into Yoga for the first time at a graduate level.
You've completed 200- or 500-hour training. You're ready for advanced study that moves beyond technique into the full philosophical tradition.
Build the scholarly foundation to lead your community with authority, offer evidence-based programming, and elevate your professional standing.
Integrate Yoga's evidence-based frameworks into coaching, therapy, healthcare, or corporate wellness. Add depth to the work you already do.
You don't need a career reason. The deepest work is sometimes simply becoming more fully yourself — grounded, clear, and purposeful.
Unlike many academic programs, VaYU's education is not confined to the classroom. You'll integrate study into daily life — through practice, reflection, and real-world application.
