Over a century ago, Swami Vivekananda was among the first to carry that wisdom west, introducing audiences beyond India to Yoga's philosophy and its promise for human welfare. VaYU is founded on that same spirit of inquiry - not as a continuation of his institution, but as an homage to what he started.
We exist to do what he could only point toward: build a full graduate university dedicated entirely to Yoga, where ancient practice meets modern research - rigorous enough for scholars, and grounded enough to change how people live.
