Sh. Babulal Gandhi, a retired aerospace executive with an M.S. and doctoral work in Electrical Engineering (UK/USA), is based in Los Angeles. A seeker, social worker, and passionate yogi, he is the Founding Chairman of VaYU.

Raytheon Semiconductor, CA (2001–2005, 1979–1982)

Senior Principal Engineer supporting satellite manufacturing.
NASA Satellite Test Engineer, providing ground systems support (torpedoes, submarines, etc.).
Took a 3-year community service sabbatical (1998–2001).

Northrop Grumman, CA (1982–1998)

Assistant Project Manager for military satellite manufacturing.
Recognized with Best Project and financial management awards from the Air Force.

Kulite Semiconductor, NJ (1972–1977)

Section Head for pressure transducer electronics, supporting Sandia Lab, Lockheed Martin, and Pratt & Whitney.

Jaipur Metals & Electricals, India (1965–1972)

Test Engineer and Industrial Engineer for international projects in Malaysia, Sudan, Ghana, and Hong Kong.

Other Achievements

Declined an Associate Professorship in Electrical Engineering at Cal State Northridge (1982) to join Northrop Grumman.

1995–Present: Founding President & Board Member, VYASA LA. Conducted teacher training, therapy workshops, and served as an examiner for PGDYT students.
2001–2010: Traveled annually across the USA, Brazil, and India with a spiritual master, supporting retreats and Vedanta discourses.
1998–2000: Secretary, Hindu Heritage Academy. Guided visitors on pilgrimage tours after early retirement from Raytheon.
1995–1997: Adjunct Professor, Hindu University of America, teaching religious courses.
1977–1991: Sunday school trainer, religious discourse leader, and magazine publisher.
1963–1982: Served an enlightened Guru and Paramhans Sadguru.
1972–1977: Studied Vedanta and served Swamis at Ramakrishna Mission.
