Dr. Paul Feinberg, Trustee and Senior Counsel for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland since 2007, is a retired partner of a national law firm with extensive legal expertise.
Paul H. Feinberg, a retired partner at Baker Hostetler, specialized in tax and nonprofit corporation law, focusing on tax-exempt organizations. Since retiring in 2006, he has volunteered as Senior Counsel for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, advising on tax, governance, and nonprofit matters. Previously, as Assistant General Counsel at the Ford Foundation, he oversaw program-related investments and advised on community development and tax issues. A former adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University (1987–2019), he taught nonprofit law and contributed to publications and lectures on charitable giving and tax-exempt organizations. He is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Exempt Organizations Committee.
